How I ship with AI tools without pretending I did not

I use Cursor the way a careful student uses a very fast editor. It can draft, rename, and wire up a form. It cannot decide what I am willing to put my name on.

The rule I keep is simple. If I cannot explain a sentence on this site in an interview, it does not belong here. That is why there is no invented research, and no project I have already decided not to finish.

What I do own is the brief, the taste, and the finish. Tools made the typing faster. They did not make the judgement.

The useful combination, I think, is this: someone who can direct modern tools, and someone who will still say no when the output is wrong.
